Typing

Yesterday, my wife Michele and I were talking about typing and typing speed. So I decided to take a typing speed test and Michele was most impressed that my speed was at around 75 word per minute. I am indebted for learning typing in my college years to Rashid Khalidi. As my advisor at AUB, he once urged me to learn typing. He types with two fingers (but fast) and he told me that I would need to learn how to type in the future in graduate school. And I registered with my friend Amthal Ismail at a secretarial school in Hamra. Amthal and I were the only males and the rest (tens, really) were women wanting to work as secretaries.
