Cornel West on Obama

I strongly disagree with Cornel West when he says that Obama had conned progressives. When did he do that, and how? Obama never posed as a progressive and his voting record in the US senate was clear for all to see.  But there were leftists like West who wanted to project progressive values and principles to a man who was never a progressive in his life.
