into tenure track faculty positions. Compared to the general population of female candidates, women of color were less likely earn academic faculty
appointments (43.8% compared to 56.5%) and more likely to be placed in non-academic positions (18.1% compared to 11.6%) or not placed at all (23.7%15.4%)."
