US rebel groups in Syria and their fight against ISIS

What happened near the border with Turkey is symptomatic: that US rebel groups in Syria are not doing well at all in the face of ISIS.  And Obama's rhetoric on ISIS ignores a major element about the war on ISIS: that US enemies in the Middle East (from Syrian regime, to Russia, to Hizbullah, to some factions in Iraq, to Iranian military advisors and personnel) have done more against ISIS than US and its allies. This is a fact devoid of political consideration but US won't acknowledge of course.
