How Ben Carson pronounced the word "Hamas"

"He kept calling it something that sounded more like hummus.".   So I read in all US media that Ben Carson mispronounced the word "Hamas". So I went and listened to is speech and found out that his pronunciation was much closer to the Arabic original than the common American mispronunciation.  As for the substance of the speech, he is as Zionist as any other US official.
