So how many Syrians has the Saudi regime allowed into the kingdom?

Well, it depends who you ask.
Dawud Shiryan wrote last week in Al-Hayat that the Saudi government has allowed one million Syrian refugees.
Jamal Kashuqji today, also in Al-Hayat, wrote that the Saudi government has allowed half a million Syrian refugees.
But now the number has jumped to 2.5 million, according to Al-Arabiyyah (the news station of King Fahd's brother-in-law).
