I knew that this would happen: whenever Syrian rebels advance on some front, or even if they capture a mere checkpoint, Anne Barnard of the Times and Liz Sly of the Post and all other Western correspondents in the region rush to write articles about the great strides and advances made by the rebels. But whenever Syrian regime and its allies make advances it is never a story--not even a minor story.
