Where is the Martin Luther of Islam

The Economist made the point about waiting for Muslim Gudot, I mean, Martin Luther (as if the latter was a champion of enlightenment thinking and progressiveness).  Islam in the 20th century had a far better figure than Martin Luther, and his name was Jamal Abdul-Nasser. He engaged in the most radical reform of Al-Azhar, and consequently of Islam, in the history of religion.  But you may have forgotten that those who rallied against this man and his radical reforms were Israel, Gulf regimes, and Western governments.
