The reality of the rise of anti-Semitism in France

Amid all the articles in the American press about the rise of anti-Semitism in France, I asked an Arab I trust ("Ibn Rushd") about that.  He wrote me this (I cite with his permission, of course):
"Yes, but the rise of antisemitism is a reality.

French extreme right has never really discarded its old antisemitism, merely hiding it + Catholic traditionalist right-wingers blame the Jews and the Freemasons for gay marriage + Many troubled Muslim youth also succumbing to rabid antisemitism.

Dieudonne and his nazi friend Soral remain quite popular among confused folks. French double standards and hypocrisy make it easy for them to claim they're singled out.

I also hear a lot of antisemitic comments from members of the French elites who feel comfortable flaunting their prejudice, assuming I share them because I am an arab. Last month my doctor, scion of a catholic aristocratic family, commented about one of his colleagues: "he is a Jew. He overcharges everybody. He's filthy rich and buys a new studio every year."
Some of my (non-Zionist) Jewish friends are growing increasingly uncomfortable in France. They're thinking of moving to Florida. But they also got enticing Israeli offers."
