Obama did what Western media refused to do:

Obama conceded that insults to Muhammad for Muslims is tantamount to denying the Holocaust for Jews (although we all should be opposed to denial of basic facts of history especially when there are so many victims involved): "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. But to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see in the images of Jesus Christ that are desecrated, or churches that are destroyed, or the Holocaust that is denied."  Yet, one can easily mock Muhammad in the name of free speech and be lionized, and one would be strictly ostracized in the West (and never championed if one is to deny the Holocaust).   You either respect the feelings of all faiths and religious groups or you don't respect the feelings of any religious groups. By favoring some over others you are explicitly engaging in bigotry.
