The New York Times and other US media are just appalled about the Turkish presidential palace and its extravagance. I mean, pro-US Arab potentates in the Gulf would never ever engage in such extravagance. Never.
PS Al-Walid bin Talal is not a king or president and his palace in Riyadh cost as much as this presidential palace but that did not raise the ire of the Times.
