"Collaboration has been considered a heinous crime in Palestinian society".  As opposed to other societies where collaborators for foreign occupiers are welcomed with open arms?  So collaboration is considered a heinous crime in Palestinian society, while collaborators in the American War of Independence and in WWII were treated rather kindly and humanely.
