America protects its troops

The US announces that its troops in Iraq are merely--just like Truman on the Korean War--engaged in "police action".  So a small number of advisers is dispatched to Iraq.  And the US asserts that it will not engage military in Iraq.  But then the US starts bombing in Iraq in the name of protecting the military advisers.
