This passes as poetry in the New York Times

"“You cannot place water and fire in one glass.”It was vintage Peres, a poetic metaphor as he nudged at the bounds of what is supposed to be a ceremonial post."  For Zionist media in the US, a burp by an Israeli is comparable to an epic poem.
