As I wrote before, I never liked or trusted this man and never was a fan of his writings. I felt that he was dishonest as a dissident who would offer occasional praise to the Syrian regime, and then became the leftist who doubled as a favorite tool for Prince Bandar. Look at his ugly sectarian rhetoric: he brags that the Syrian "revolution" has managed to kill 82,000 `Alawites. I for the life of me can't understand how any leftist would be able to support such people (but I understand that some leftists would be able to support the resistance agenda--and solely the resistance agenda against Israeli occupation--of Hizbullah). Pay a special attention to the last passage of this interview.
