Friends of Israel: the case of Egyptian `Ali Salim

`Ali Salim is a typical Arab liberal: he espouses liberalism but is a columnist in the mouthpiece of Prince Salman, Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat and sings the praises of Saudi policies.  He, in English only, calls for normalization with Israel but is an anti-Semite in Arabic.  He visited Israel and was humiliated there as an Arab but wrote an account that was instantly translated into English (conspiracy theory? No way).  Now he is writing calling for Egyptian police to form a secret organization to kill those accused of attacks on police and to "burn their homes".  Such are the very rare (handful, really) friends of Israel among the Arabs.
