A scoop, really. A new theory in the Guardian: If you don't vote for Bashshar, you will be killed.

"To vote for anything other than Bashar al-Assad is to sign your own death warrant and that of your family, and not to vote at all means you are forfeiting your chance of any kind of future in Syria."  Can someone try to count the various theories invoked in Western media to justify the massive crowds that voted in Lebanon (and elsewhere) and which really irked Western media?
