Those who stole Palestine have no qualms about stealing the culture of the entire region

Somebody is telling me that the food I grew up eating (and with Arabic names to the dishes) is Israeli food? Are you kidding me? 

الغرب بات يصنّف الأطباق التي نشأنا عليها على أنها "إسرائيليّة"

PS One of my former students wrote this on Facebook: "Sadie wrote: "I enjoyed this line: ". 
."Borrowing flavors from the cultures that live within the state..." Like borrowing land!"

PPS:  I wonder. What did people in the Middle East region eat before the occupying state of Israel was founded?  They just ate grass?
