"Yes, As'ad, I know, things are getting crazier every day. They reported that yesterday a couple of parliament members from Svoboda with some thugs entered the main TV station/channel in Ukraine to harass the director. they passed by pictures of actors and anchors on the walls, having a dialogue which ones of them are russians, which ones are jews.. They filmed the whole thing, belittling director in his office in a thug way, some slaps on the head, cursing, trying to figure out if he is Ukrainian or not (yes, in that way, about his ethnic roots), and asked him to announce resignation. Then they kidnapped him and disappeared. The whole video came onto social media right away, they posted it. And then few hours after (it had already been reposted), they tried to take the video down...
I mean, ya, everyone always knew that that station/main national channel worked for Yanukovich all along, and was basically parroting Putin's propaganda the whole time.. And the director is a sell out piece of shit, sell out to money and political bandits. But doing what these Svoboda thugs did is just showing how far off from civilized world Ukraine is and how little hope there is. I don't know what is the point of revolutions really, you have good people, with good ideals and legitimate demands, but thugs and crooks and fanatics always end up on top and nothing changes. And people die and struggle in vain. They try to get rid of thugs and bandits, and then the new power structure ends up filled with new thugs and bandits.
And I watched a ceremony in Moscow yesterday about Crimea's status, celebration. Omg, they (russian politicians and military) stood there saluting Russian flag, Putin, with tears in eyes, singing russian hymn; if you think Americans are stupid patriotic, this is worse, Russian patriotism under Putin is just fanatical. Any critical voices of him are some loners who will peep here and there.. but millions follow Putin, it's like USSR, or Nazi Germany, whatever you want to call it. All tv channels, newspapers are controlled by Kremlin. Yesterday they fired a director of major Russian journal for an article they published about Crimea and the war.
And on Russian-Ukrainian social media sites, you can see the masses of people falling into this nationalist idiotic hateful frenzy that is being stirred up; if you criticize Putin, they call you the lover of Svoboda nazis, hater of russians and jews; if you criticize Svoboda and the right sector, they call you Putin's bitch and ask you to find something more useful to do, like fight a war with Russians... they say Putin is greater threat than some party Svoboda in Ukraine..
In Ukraine, now officials and journalists denounce the right sector and Svoboda, but it is too late, they have done and are doing the damage already.
