The AUB Whitewash

Regarding the recent meeting of the AUB Board of Trustees and the subsequent statement by the chairperson of the board. It is a whitewash that promises that all will be the same and that the American men will still be running that place like before.  But my favorite part of the statement is this sentence: "The Board believes that this policy strikes the appropriate balance between individual privacy and institutional integrity".  Read it again and think about what they mean by "institutional integrity".  It is a mere euphemism for the right of that same "outside party" to steal data from the staff, students, and faculty of AUB.  I told you years ago when I was a student there and posted signs all over campus: The solution, the solution: nationalize AUB.
