Karl Marx's death anniversary

I remember this day back in 1980 at the American University of Beirut. A very angry comrade (under the heavy influence of heroin) approached me yelling and screaming: why don't you close down the campus on this day when the great Karl Marx died? I tried to calm him down to no avail. He kept yelling and screaming.  Sadly, the comrade is dead and I cant remind him of the incident.
