Basim sent me this story and this headline: "Hizbullah fighter discloses military secrets to - who else - Nicholas Blanford"

"“We are on the outskirts of Yabroud and I can see the enemy as clearly as I can see you,” says a veteran Hezbollah fighter who goes by the nom de guerre Abu Jamal. He returned from the Qalamoun front a week earlier and agreed to discuss the offensive on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media. “We have no orders to invade Yabroud. We are doing reconnaissance and sniping,” says Abu Jamal. Abu Jamal says that Hezbollah fighters are even operating tanks and self-propelled four-barreled 23mm anti-aircraft guns, known as Shilkas, an unusual addition to its capabilities that indicates Hezbollah’s increasing sophistication."  Did that fighter who divulges his secrets to Blanford (not to be confused with his other source Dany or Ronny and not to be confused with the Hizbullah killers of Hariri who were interviewed by Blanford--well, he did not interview them per se but he signed his name to a Time magazine interview with them but later admitted that he was not there during the interview but that he really trusts the guy who interviewed them and with whom his name appeared)?  And did he give Blanford his exact location and ask him that his Israeli contacts use the information to bomb the location? You see: when you read Blanford on Hizbullah you have to think of him as the official therapist of all party commanders and fighters. They come to him to unwind and just let their hair down.
