Muhammad Ra`d, the head of the Hizbullah parliamentary bloc, is one of the best political speakers there is--political aside. Judging from the standpoint of Arab political rhetoric (not delivery), he so carefully and precisely selects his words and phrases his sentences. Look at his speech yesterday at the Lebanese parliament. Ra`d used to be a military-intelligence operative in Hizbullah before become the head parliamentarian.
PS Years ago, I gave a talk about US foreign policy in the southern suburbs. Ra`d was in the audience. Ten minutes into my talk, he dozed off and did not wake up until the very end.
