"Government officials have appeared tense, lecturing reporters, responding testily to blunt questions and accusing critics of supporting terrorism. In contrast, opposition leaders have been calm, assured and usually polite, aided by a posse of nearly a dozen mostly British media advisers." (Of course, she meant "notwithstanding the time when the head of the Syrian opposition delegation called on the security to "remove" a journalist because she asked him questions that he did not like). You need to read the article and compare it with a similar article by Anne Barnard from two days ago. They are almost exactly the same (I don't mean that they plagiarized, of course) but they follow the same script. Both asked the US official (a neutral observer of the Syrian scene of course) to assess (objectively of course) the performance of the Syrian government delegation. It is hilarious. But here is m question: all those articles in the mainstream Zionist press are declaring the victory of the Syrian opposition delegation in the negotiations. But the opposition wanted the beginning of the transition process and the government delegation did not budge one iota on this. So who won again?
