From an anonymous NGO source in the Middle East:
"- Is ICRC upset with the UN evacuation mission in Homs?
- Media coverage of the Homs evacuation was extremely positive and the mission was described as heroic. I wonder if it would have gotten the same attention and praise if it were in an area besieged by the rebels instead
- I don't know who shot at the convoy but 15 people died that day. I wonder why this was undermined and downplayed in the media! it was a highly risky mission, where is the achievement in getting food to starving people by causing (indirectly) the death of 15 others?"
