American crazy coverage of Sochi games

If the word "hysterical" is not a sexist word, I would have invoked it to describe the frenzied American coverage of the Sochi games before it even started.  It is purely based on the old fashioned American nationalistic hostility to Russia which only increased in the last three years with the Russian role in Syria. The hilarious part is when an NBC reporter expresses outrage over a foreign government spying on foreigners in Russia when he and his network has not expressed similar outrage over US government spying on AMERICAN CITIZENS.
