"On 11 January 2014, the Riyadh’s Specialized Criminal Court handed out sentences the citizen "Abdul Hameed al-'Amer" from Ahsa city, to 6 years in prison; and the citizen Salih al-Shaye', from Ahsa city, to 5 years in prison. The court convicted them for posting comments on Facebook supporting the anti-government protests in the eastern province and the release of the Shiite cleric Sheikh "Tawfiq al-'Amer".
