The Middle East editor of the Economist is losing it: is Robert Fisk writing there now?

Look at this long essay on civil wars in the Economist.  While it contains good information and insights, it has the weird and false notion that former speaker of the Lebanese parliament, Hussein Husayni, actually single-highhandedly ended the Lebanese civil war. It is almost funny.
