Anne Barnard insists that Syrian National Coalition reaches its decisions by "voting": and how meaningful is voting when is carried out by unelected people? It is like the politburo vote

The headline:  "Leading Syrian Opposition Group, Yielding to Pressure, Votes to Join Peace Talks".  Then the text:  "Under intense American, British and European pressure, the coalition voted early Monday..."  And then:  "Ahmed Jarba, slapped a representative of the rebel Free Syrian Army, Louay Mekdad, during a dispute in which Mr. Mekdad called the voting process reminiscent of Mr. Assad’s Baath Party. " It is a vote alright.
