PS I hate how some Syrians (of both camps) treat Steve Jobs as if he was one of them, a Syrian when he 1) never met his (Syrian birth) father and even refused to meet him when he found out his identity given the way he had treated his birth mother and his son and daughter; 2) the Arab background of his birth father never meant a thing to him, although his birth sister, Mona Simpson (a well-known novelist) identified with the Arab background of her birth father, and even traveled to Syria and visited Homs and integrated Arab characters in her writings.
