Lina Khatib of USA Today (which admittedly is dumber than all the competition in US media) assures readers that two secular women are leading the Syrian "revolution"--including presumably the Army of Muhammad, the Army of Islam, ISSI and Nusrah Front

It has been a while since I read such dumb coverage of Syria:  "But these women have been leaders in the uprising from the beginning. Atassi is a prominent opposition leader living abroad; Zaitouneh is an influential human rights lawyer in hiding at home. Both have what it takes to become Syria's chief executive — that is, if they live long enough to see the current regime fall." (thanks anonymous)
