It is delicious how Western media (both conservative and liberal) take GCC and the Jordanian potentates as representative of the rebellious Arab youths. Now they added former Lebanese Hariri-Saudi prime minister, Fu'ad Sanyurah, to the mix. But here is the deal: why didn't Foreign Policy mention that Fu'ad Sanyurah (like his master, Rafiq Hariri), was a puppet of the Syrian regime and sang the praises of the regime from 1992 until 2005 when Saudi Arabia broke with the Syrian regime? Why? (thanks Gabriel)
