What happened in Ma`lula

It is amazing (not really) how the Western media ignored what transpired in the ancient Christian (I say Christian because you a bit less racist than Christian Arabs than you are to Muslim Arabs) village of Ma`lula.  Here was a case when Islamist and US-armed/financed thugs of Fee Syrian Army attacking the village and making awful sectarian declaration against its residents.  I saw today in the Washington Post there was a reference to "clashes" in Ma`lula.  Here is an account in As-Safir.
