I am not saying this only because I read what those correspondents write, in their media and on Twitter sometimes, but this is also based on the impression that people in the region who meet with them: I don't recall a moment when Western correspondents in the Middle East have been more eager for an American act of war than this time. I mean, they are angry with Obama for delaying the strike. Of course, it is too axiomatic to remind you that not a single person among those correspondents--not one (I defy any of them to send me a disagreement about this on the record) would dare call on the West to intervene militarily against Israeli occupation and aggression.
