Western media did not report:
1) that Mahmoud Abbas bragged to his cadres in Ramallah that he opposes attack on Syria.
2) that Shaykh Al-Azhar twice at least declared fierce opposition to attack on Syria.
3) that Abdul-Bari `Atwan (the widely read former editor-in-chief and publisher of (Qatari-funded) Al-Quds Al-`Arabi newspaper in London) came out strongly against a Western attack on Syria and in language he never used in his former paper stated that he stands by the Syrian regime.
