The Lebanese president, Michel Sulayman, is mocked for his love of travel and pomp. He today gave a speech in which he said that the situation is not good in Lebanon. Yet, he insists to head the Lebanese delegation to--hear this--the Francophone Games in Nice. I am not making this up.
