Kuwaiti newspapers

I know that Israeli media love to cite Kuwaiti newspapers for political reasons, but I can't believe that some Western reporters who should know better still cite Kuwaiti newspapers on any subject when most are known to be run by Saudi intelligence.  To cite Kuwaiti newspaper on any subject is like citing the National Inquirer (or Franklin Lamb of Hizbullah media) on foreign policy.  Kuwaiti newspapers were, ironically, the best in the region until 1991, when their Palestinian editors and reporters were expelled.
