Kerry pressures the Saudis

It is not even secret: the Obama administration is desperate and eager for an official Arab endorsement of the US strike on Syria.  It is fair to say that the two official statements by Al-Azhar against a strike on Syria, make it harder for the Arab GCC potentates to offer support publicly.  Now, Kerry just announced that the House of Saud is on board now: I will report to you if the Saudis state in Arabic that they support an American strike.  Those words have not been uttered, unlike what some US media outlets have reported.  Furthermore, Qatar's heavy-handed role in the NATO intervention in Libya did not go kindly in Arab public opinion.
