From Abba Eban to Charles Malik

The collection of private papers of Charles Malik at the Library of Congress is incomplete: the family must have kept some that relates to Israel.  But there is in Box number 15, a congratulatory letter from Abba Eban to Malik (the letters by Malik to him have not been surrendered by the family).  Ironically, the letter is about the birth of Malik's son, Habib, who was one of the first Arab to be associated with WINEP.   I wish to thank two people, Scott and Sam for visiting the Library and checking the box.  The image was provided to me by Sam.

PS The collection's description states that one box holds "classified" material.
