Avi Shlaim in the Guardian

So Avi Shlaim is weeping about Oslo in the Guardian: but I am surprised that he did not take the opportunity to send his best regards to his dear friend, King Husayn.  So according to Shlaim, Oslo is not bad but 1) Palestinians resorted to violence; 2) Netanyahu was not helpful; 3) and Rabin was killed.  Other than that, it would have been just wonderful.  What is worse than Likud Zionism? Labor Zionism. What is worse than Labor Zionism? Likud Zionism.
