sexual misconduct at Yale

From James: "I can't remember if I first read about this at your blog! In any case, to complement your USC story. Aside from the usual reasons, part of the panic attached to the spread of sharia law in the US--the citizens of Kansas are now relatively safe--derives from a legitimate fear of multiple inegalitarian legal codes. But of course, we already have those.

Yale has evolved a separate law code to handle more discreetly allegations of rape on campus. The formal report only uses the word “rape” once, but demurely gives it a polysyllabic chaperone: “nonconsensual sex/rape.”

But don’t worry: the campus judiciary gives out severe sentences to the nonconsensual sexualists: written reprimands, mandatory counseling, even suspension."
