Philip Hitti on the tomb of Muhammad's companion, Abu `Ubaydah ibn Al-Jarrah

I came across this:  "His tomb [of `Abu `Ubaydah ibn Al-Jarrah] became a place of pious pilgrimage.  It was visited by the Amir `Abdullah of Transjordan (1933) as an atonement for having rented a large estate to Zionists". (Philip Hitti, Makers of Arab History, p. 33).
