New York Times says Israel rarely kills Palestinians now

"Such killings have become relatively rare, though a 19-year-old student died in similar circumstances in the southern West Bank town of Dura on July 2.

The Israeli human rights group B’tselem said Mr. Lahlouh was the 10th Palestinian killed this year by the military, compared with 254 in all of 2012 (about three-quarters died during Israel’s eight-day clash with Hamas in November) and 115 in 2011."
