I watched a report on British TV this week about Mugabe and the election in Zimbabwe. I still can't (or I really can once I think about race) believe how his regime is regarded as the ultimate dictatorship. His opponents hold public rallies and they refer to him as a dictator. How is that a dictatorship? Can opponents of House of Saud or other GCC countries's dynasties, hold public rallies to refer to the ruler as a dictator? And yet, you never refer to GCC countries as dictatorships. The obsession with Mugabe is due to his personality and defiance: the white supremacists are not accustomed to a black African man speaking back in defiance.
