sectarianism and Adonis

"Some rebels have accused him of sectarian allegiance to the regime."  But as much as I dislike the man, there is no evidence whatsoever of sectarianism by the man who wrote courageous atheist poetry back in the 1960s and 1970s.  The sectarian accusation is based purely on the accident of birth by him.  In fact, the accusation merely betrays the sectarianism of the rebels.
