It is a humanitarian disaster

All Western media and Western NGOs made themselves a party to the Syrian conflict but rendering naked propaganda services to the armed opposition. Whenever the armed groups face an imminent military defeat all Western media and NGOs raise a hue and cry about a humanitarian disaster that require immediate global action. But why don't they make the same fuss when the fighters of the armed groups take over a town or put a siege on a city?
