US Policy in Syria

Did you read the statements by Kerry and other US officials this week about Syria: they keep speaking about balance and tipping the balance in Syria. They want neither the government side nor the rebel side to win. They just want both of them to be embroiled in a long protracted conflict. Look at the French foreign minister:  "but there has to be a rebalancing.”"
