To be fair to the US

I thought to myself yesterday: if all this exterminationist hate propaganda against `Alawites and Shi`ites propagated by Saudi media was directed at Jews, how would the US have responded? How would they have reacted?  But then I thought: with the same disregard and nonchalance.  I mean, from the 1940s until the 1990s, the Saudi media vomited daily barrage of hateful propaganda against Jews, and that never ever spoiled the relationship between US and Saudi Arabia.  To be fair to the US, that is.
