The unending adventures of Richard Engel who really hearts his captors

From Eric: " In this article in Vanity Fair recounting his alleged experience as a hostage in Syria, Richard Engel demonstrates that his skills as a propagandist for the US imperialists and their lackeys are very poor indeed (http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/2013/04/richard-engel-kidnapping-syria).  The inconsistencies and absurdities in the article are too abundant to enumerate (for example: the FSA commander's bodyguard is able to reply "that's me sir" shortly after his mouth is sealed shut with duct tape).  Moreover, the final sequence detailing the hostages' release from captivity in the context of a deadly firefight is contradicted by one among them, private security contractor Ian Rivers (bizarrely identified as a "technician" in the article), who states in this video that he was in fact released by his captors "in the confusion of some sort of handover" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcnNJRvgWtw). "
