Insult to the Syrian people

The Syrian people have produced many great poets and writers but it is insulting to the Syrian people that Western media--purely for propaganda purposes--are willing to publish any mawkishly sentimental babble by Syrians provided that they have the "right" political view.  Read this piece today in the Times: there is not one single insight.  Hell, there is not one single original sentiment.
